Social Simulation Conference - 2019

Slides of my talk at the social simulation conference in Mainz. There I presented a conference paper showing the difference mobility behaviour makes to congestion and emissions in a city.

We compared the same traffic system once with normal behaviour and once assigning rural behaviour to urban citizens. Thereby, we did showed that rural mobility patterns are not feasible in urban road networks. Furthermore, we could emphasize that our traffic model is unique in being based on actual behaviour in contrast to an origin-destination matrix.
